Adult & Group Visits

Guided Tours for Adult and Community Groups

The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College encourage group visits. We ask that you call at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule your visit. We recommend allowing 1 ½ hours for your visit. Groups are limited to no more than 25 in a gallery, so larger groups will be split up. If you have a very large group, please call and we will discuss how we can best accommodate you.

Self-Guided Tours

Self-guided group tours are welcome during normal gallery hours, Tuesday to Sunday, 12 to 5 pm, with extended hours until 9 pm on Thursday. Please call two weeks in advance to let us know when you are coming, even if you do not require a guided tour so we may staff the galleries appropriately.

Academic Groups

From primary grades through higher education, we offer a range of programs.

• For K-12 teachers and their students.

• For college classes and other academic groups.
