Juxtaposing Chinese and Tibetan versions of identical compositions in paintings and objects from the fourteenth through eighteenth centuries, this exhibition included examples of tangka painting, Chinese hanging scrolls, album leaves, porcelain ceramics, and scholars’ rocks. A traveling exhibition organized in collaboration with the Rubin Museum of Art, New York.
