Elevator Music 12: Jessica Rylan

Jessica Rylan is a sound artist, electronic musician, and instrument maker who lives and works in the Boston area. Her various installation and performance projects often feature analog modular synthesizers of her own design and construction. Performing nationally and internationally as Can’t, her one-woman band, she explores a wide palette of sounds from screeching noise and distorted tones, to soft muted voices and rhythmic oscillations.
For Elevator Music 12, Rylan will transform the Tang’s cavernous, stainless steel elevator into a new kind of musical instrument.
