In realizing the Tang Teaching Museum’s educational mission, we offer numerous opportunities for college students, faculty, K-12 teachers, and school-age children and their families.

The Alfred Z. Solomon Residency Fund was established by a bequest to Skidmore College in 2005. It supports short- and long-term residencies in the Art History and Art departments, and the Tang Teaching Museum, bringing notable scholars, artists, and critics to classrooms, studios, and the Museum. Residencies address a wide range of issues in the visual arts and feature varied opportunities for both formal and informal interaction.
