On March 20, 2014, Skidmore College students Sarah Dinkelacker ’14 and Allison O’Keeffe ’14 interviewed artist David Brooks about Stress Tests: Un-Sites No. 1-2 & 3-5 (homage to Gordon) in the exhibition One Work.

This interview was part of a series of interviews with artists in One Work organized and conducted by Skidmore students in the Art History course AH-351A. The series was supported by The Alfred Z. Solomon Residency Fund.

David Brooks was born in 1975 in Brazil, Indiana, and lives and works in New York. His work is driven by his interest in the ways in which humans interact with natural and built environments. Brooks’ work transforms and deconstructs these environments.
