The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, a literary classic written by Jacqueline Kelly, has been chosen as this year’s junior selection. Join us for Saratoga Reads! on Friday, February 23, from 10:30 am – noon. Participants will make river collages with “evolution notebooks,” depicting scenes from the book or others from their imaginations. We will focus on the different species hidden in nature, working with feathers, colored paper, magazines, and other art material.
This event is suitable for children ages 5 and up, with or without an adult companion. Saratoga Reads! is free and all materials will be provided. Please read the book before you come to our program!
