Family Saturday: Drop-in Art-Making Activity

Join us for a drop-in activity during Family Celebration Weekend on Saturday, October 21, any time between noon and 1:30 pm. We will take a tour of Opener 30: Njideka Akunyili Crosby — Predecessors and talk about the objects and interiors in Crosby’s paintings. Then we will make 3-D still life constructions, including miniature pots and pans. This project is perfect for families to make together!

No reservations are required for this program. Drop by to add your touches or stay as long as you like. Family Saturdays foster multigenerational creative cooperation through looking at artwork, discussing it, and engaging in a hands-on art activity.

This Family Saturday is part of the Tang’s fall opening celebration. Free and open to the public, this event is suitable for children age 5 and older, accompanied by their adult companions. Materials are provided. For additional information call the Tang’s Visitor Service Desk at 518-580-8080.
