September 7, 2017, 6 PM
Free and open to the public
Join us Thursday, September 7, at 6:00 pm, on the Tang’s Mezzanine for an evening of knitting, weaving, and tea as the first event in our two-day closing celebration of Liz Collins — Energy Field. Knitters and weavers of all skill-levels are welcome. Whether you run your own Etsy shop selling woven and knitted goods, or you don’t even know what a loom is—this is not only your chance to learn, but to make your own! Beginner knitters will be instructed by Sally Apolinksy ‘20; experienced knitters are welcome to come and assist. Laila Morgan '18 will give a demonstration on how to build your own miniature loom to take home.
The two-day closing celebration of Liz Collins — Energy Field includes this knitting party, a screening of the cult classic Liquid Sky, a conversation with Liz Collins and writer Jennifer Kabat, a witch storytelling hour, and a New Wave dance party!
This event is free and open to the public.
