Skidmore students are invited to join us on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, at 6 pm, as the Tang Student Advisory Council hosts the annual celebration that welcomes Skidmore students back to the museum and this year marks the opening of the exhibition a field of bloom and hum.
Students will be able to make buttons, sew lavender pouches, mend and exchange clothes with help from the Environmental Action Club, arrange dried flower bouquets, take a mix CD courtesy of WSPN, decorate journals with HIPS (Health, Image, Power, Self), and take part in a queer story mapping project. DJs will also be spinning records in the exhibition. Craft and activity stations will be throughout the Tang.
This event is free and open to all Skidmore students.
