Join us Thursday, October 3, the first afternoon of the Jewish High Holiday of Rosh Hashanah, at 5 pm, for Days of Intonement, led by Adam Tinkle, Associate Professor of Media and Film and Director of the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative (MDOCS).
Adam, who led the SoundMind series of participatory workshops in listening, sound-making, and mindfulness at the Tang from 2016-2018, unveils this new, ecumenically-spiritual, seasonal container for music, sound, and reflection, inspired by (but straying far from) Jewish traditions of gathering, (a)toning, and releasing what we no longer need.
All are welcome: no prior knowledge of or experience with those traditions is needed.
