Community ASL Workshop

The interior of the Tang, featuring an atrium and interior staircase; light streams in through the window and the angular architecture of the building is clear.

Join us Monday, February 27, at 6:30 pm, for a 90-minute workshop that introduces Deaf history and culture, American Sign Language, and basic ASL vocabulary and grammar. This program, offered in conjunction with the exhibition Christine Sun Kim: Oh Me Oh My, will be taught by Colette Steves, a certified ASL instructor.

The workshop is free and open to all, though space is limited; registration is required via this Google form. This is a beginner workshop, no ASL experience necessary. Voiced ASL interpreter will be included. The same workshop will be offered again on March 20 and April 17. Content will be similar, but participants can attend as many as they like.
