Tang at Home Studio: Vivid Inspiration

Sticker design with "TANG AT HOME STUDIO" in white lettering over a blue and orange striped background.

Join us for Tang at Home Studio on Saturday, October 23, at 11:00 am to talk about art, make art, and share — all conducted via Zoom.

This week, we will take a close look at works by Mississippi Chocktaw-Cherokee artist Jeffrey Gibson. What is he trying to express and communicate using these colorful, vibrant, multimedia works? We will explore Gibson’s piece in the Tang collection alongside his other works and then create our own inspired mixed-media pieces!

Tang at Home Studios are free, however, registration is required and space is limited. Register for this event.

Once you register, you will receive project instructions, a list of materials, and a link to Saturday’s Zoom session. Register early, as space is limited. Registration will close once the workshop reaches capacity.

If you have any questions, please email Museum Educator Sunny Ra at sra@skidmore.edu.
