Join us at 6 PM Thursday, August 5, for a performance by Thomasina Winslow on the lawn outside the Tang.

Blues singer Thomasina Winslow’s snappy guitar chops and rich warm vocals has made her a staple of the Capital Region music scene. An educator, producer, world traveler, and historian of Americana, Winslow’s powerful voice makes her a true ambassador of the blues. This is Winslow’s Upbeat debut.

For its 20th season, the Upbeat on the Roof summer series highlights regional musical talent every Thursday, July 29 through August 19 from 6:00-7:00 pm.

Performances are free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are invited to bring picnic blankets, camping chairs, and their own food and drink to make it a night! Due to COVID safety guidelines, there will be a 100-person capacity, and all non-vaccinated visitors will be required to remain masked. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled.
