The Curatorial Assistant assists with research and administrative tasks for exhibitions and their accompanying publications, and helps facilitate access to the museum collection.
Molly Channon joined the Tang in August 2017 as Curatorial Assistant. In her position, she works with curators, faculty, students, and artists on the museum’s exhibitions and publication projects. She recently organized Serious Sparkle, an exhibition focused on five artists working with craft techniques to explore gender and power. Prior to working at the Tang, she has held curatorial and education positions at the Jewish Museum, New York; Yale Center for British Art, New Haven, CT; Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH; Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, Waltham, MA; and the Currier Museum of Art, Manchester, NH. She earned her bachelor’s in art history and philosophy from Brandeis University and her master’s degree in religion, visual art, and material culture from Yale University.
